How to Join Indian Army?

First of all, we will be discussing about entry for commissioned officer's rank for Permanent Comission. Entries for Permanent Comission(PC): ¶ NDA Entry : NDA entry is for 10+2 pass candidates for admission into most prestigious National Defence Academy, Dehradun This exam is conducted two times a year. What is 'TOUR of DUTY' ?

After getting so many requests, I am writing this blog. Kindly consider that all of the information mentioned in this post is not official. TOUR of DUTY(ToD) is a proposal yet and no notification has been released by army yet. Indian army is considering this proposal to enlist civilians to join Indian Army on a voluntary basis for a period of 3 years. It is just like internship which includes 1 year of training and 3 years of service in Indian Army. Proposed model of ToD is to be implemented on a trial basis by releasing 100 vacancies for Officer's Post and 1000 vacancies for Soldier's Post. If successful, vacancies would be increased.

India is well- known for its Elite Special forces across the world. These Special Forces are trained rigorously to adapt and prepare them for readiness towards any type of operation.
