Ladakh Issue: PM Modi Reviewed situation with CDS, NSA & 3 Service Chiefs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reviewed the situation on Line of Control because of ongoing standoff with China across the border in the Ladakh region with NSA Ajit Doval, CDS Bipin Rawat and the Commander-in-Chief of three armed forces amid rising tension. This meeting took place after the meeting between the defence minister Rajnath Singh With CDS, Chiefs of Armed forces.
COAS MM Naravane briefed about the locations of different standoffs in the Ladakh region as he visited the region last week.
The meeting was held to review the implementation of recommendation of Shekatkar Committee but the Discussion of Ladakh stand off took place. The flurry of meetings comes at a time when Chinese and Indian troops have been skirmishing in the Sikkim and Ladakh region. Satellite pictures have shown that Beijing have shown that Beijing is expanding an airbase near Ladakh about at a distance of 200 km from the Galwan valley reports said. Close shots have even revealed fighter jets on the tarmac.

It is to be noted that the last week Chinese Ministry of External Affairs had accused Indian troops for trespassing the regions across LAC in Ladakh and Sikkim region and accused India of attempting to change the status of LAC border unilaterally.
MEA of China have had also clarified that established mechanism are trying to resolve the issue , they are looking the solution from talk between military commanders and diplomatic officials.
But the ground report made on the situation is indicating that the situation in the region is far more serious as increasing deployment of Troops on the Chinese side is observed and also the deployment of fighter jets from satellite images is observed which is escalating the issue between the two countries.
Also, Chinese President Xi Jinping has also ordered its troops for the increase in preparedness for war amid the soaring of relations with US and India.
China Embassy in India has also demanded for the Repatriation of Chinese students, business persons and tourists who are stuck in India due to COVID-19 Pandemic. However, Global Times which is the mouthpiece of China has clarified that the repatriation of Chinese people from India has no relation with the disputes across the LAC between the countries. China is not increasing the border disputes in any way. This initiative is to be taken for the sake of the well being of People and to evacuate them from India to bring home with the help of special flights. Its assistance to its people must not be over-interpreted as per the Chinese Media reports.
